どういうお会計の仕組みになってるのかわからないから10分くらい店内見渡しつつレジでの客の動きを観察した
どうにもレジの商品を置くところがベルトコンベアみたいになってて、そこにカゴに入れていた商品を自分で置いて流すみたい
そこまでわかったら実際にやってみたけど、店員に「Hi there.」って声かけられて速攻で固まった
どういう意味かわからず「え？」ってなった
それでもなんとかクレカで支払うよーっとカードをちらつかせ何とか購入したけど、後で調べたら「Hi there.」って挨拶の一種みたい
友達との間でつかう「hi」や「hello」と同じ意味だと知った

それでも、なんとかクレジットカードで支払うことができました。
その後、インターネットでこの言葉を調べてみると、「こんにちは」という挨拶のようなもののようです。
友達同士で使う「こんにちは」や「こんにちは」と同じ意味だと知りました。

観察する
“to watch” ←何か動いている物を見ることです。
“to look at” ←何かを見ることです。動いているかどうか、関係ありません。
“to observe” ←何か動き・変化する物を見ることです。科学的な意味合いがあるから、楽しみのためにやっているなら、”to observe”と言いません。
ベルトコンベア
工場などで回転させたベルトの上に運搬物をのせて移動させる装置「ベルトコンベア」、英語では conveyor belt または conveyor belt と言います。
