「問題解決のために頼る」的な意味みたい
名詞だと「行楽地、リゾート」って意味

aid(助ける、援助する)v.

I aid coworker in his work.
私は彼の仕事を手伝う

aid O in~で「Oの~を手伝う(助ける)」みたいな表現ができるようですね

前置詞のin使うんだ…

helpが類義語って言ってたけど、助けるの意味が違うみたいで作った文章没食らった

attempt(試みる)v.

I attempt to take the exam.
私は試験を受けようと試みる

なんかsuicide(自殺)って単語出てきた
attempt suicideって感じで使えるよみたいな感じだったんかな？

description(記述、叙述)n.

I heard the description of how to use machine.
私は機械の使い方の説明を聞いた

description of~の後になんの説明かを続ける書き方は覚えとこ

direct(まっすぐ、直接)adj.

there is a direct way to the station.
駅へのまっすぐの道があります

伝わるかしら

同じ意味みたいなんだけど、
directを使えばa way which isを省略できるよ的なことを教えてもらった

local(場所の、土地の、地元の)adj.

localって田舎的な意味合いあると思っていたんだけど、首都も地方だからlocal使うみたい

nearby(近くの)adj.が類義語って言ってた

magical(魔法のような、不思議な)adj.

enchanted(魔法をかける)が類義語って言ってた

幻想的な景色とかの表現で使うんだろうけど、
quality that makes someone or something special.
って意味を見る限りだと特別な何かって感じなんかな？

outline(あらすじ、概要)n.

it is interesting the outline of the book.
その本の概要が面白い
