雪降った

I get excited to see it snowing.
It was snowing mainly in Kanto area from the afternoon yesterday.

Speaking of snow, It was really intense about heavy snow in 2014.
I had never seen over 60cm of snow in my area before.
Then, one of my dreams came true.
I wanted to dive into the fallen snow and bury in deep snow like the animation and manga.

In those days, I was living with my parents.
The car was not able to pass through the road for the snow.
So, people walked on the road.
I remember that scene impressed me like pedestrian street.

This time, there was 20 cm of snow.
I have a bad memory against snow lately.

The year before last, there was snow on the windshield of my car.
I was snow removal with umbrella as much as possible, and I removed rest of snow with the windshield wipers.
Then It was broken, for I seemed rest of snow was heavy.

I ended up paying fifty thousand yen for car repaired.
After a few months, I had my car inspected.
Then, I was not able to believe when I got an estimate of my car inspected.
It was over two hundred thousand yen.
In those days, I was driving my car which I got from my mother.
18 years had already passed since my mother bought, so I was going to buy a new car.
I was surprized by the estimate, I have never had over one hundred thousand yen of it.

I didn’t realise at the time, but I found out later that I had had my car inspected at KOBAC that is part of a franchise until now.
I hear that some company can pass vehicle inspection without going Land Transport Bureau, and some cant’t pass.
This time, I have had my car inspected at the latter, so I was getting an expensive estimate.

Something like that happened, when I hear it snows the day, I got into habit of putting my windshield wipers up.

It had already snowed from the afternoon yesterday.
My company urged our employees to go home, so we got back home by 4 pm.
There had already been a pile of snow on the windshield of my car.
That reminded me of bad memories.

Then, my senior colleague said It would be good if you use this and was going to lend me the snow brush called.
I have almost never gone out where there is snow, so I didn’t know that at all.
Thanks to him, I was able to brush off the snow from my car.

It was snowing all night and the snow piled up high on my car in the morning.
I wished I was able to borrow the snow brush from him as the day before, but I didn’t have it on me.
So, when I had started to give up on that and I might be late for work.
However I came up with a good solution.

If I use a piece of cardboard box, I can remove the snow from my car?

I was thinking of brushing off it with my hand, but I didn’t want to go numb of my hands.
So, I thought about how I can’t touch the snow with my hand, then I came up with this idea.

I hurry home and pick up a suitable size of it, then I use it to remove that snow.
Oh, wonderful! I was able to remove the snow easily.

It was a easier than I thought, so I was able to head to my workplace in just a few minutes.
Even if I didn’t have the snow brush, I would be able to substitute free cardboard box.
It has been very helpful.

This time of year, if I will have it at my car, I would be really useful.
