マニラ1週目

I basically spend in my room all day.

This time of a language school systems were different from when I use a language school in Cebu, a teacher visit my room and teach me in my room, puls below my room is a dining room of language school. So I don’t need go out from my room, it is very comfortable.
I choiced single room in this time, so I really don’t go out because I didn’t have a occur that other person invite to like a hangout.
When I go out were only first orientation and cleaning on weekend, I have never go out with other occur.

So, I have really less stressed this time than before.

Plus, three meals were delicious.
Bytheway, I bought snack and juice, but I haven’t eaten yet.
When I lived at language school in Cebu, I ate snacks and drunk juice everyday, so I wonder I want to need something sweet with stressed.

About learning, I was learning about American accent for two hours and speaking two hours in a day. It’s total 4 hours in a day, this was same in Cebu.
I took vocabulary lesson and speaking lesson in Cebu, I never thought about pronunciation, I think it is most important now.

Because Japanese English is pronounce each word distinctly, but English has linking that is link each word and pronounce like one word, so if I tryed to understand with a way I learned in Japan, I wouldn’t be alet to understand.
When I went to shopping mall in orientation, a clerk talked me at cash register, I couldn’t really understand the a sentence that each word linked.
It seemed like I was asked by the clerk “Would you like a plastic bag?”.
I couldn’t really hear that, then I got panic and I asked for help to a staff who work the language school.

I went to Cebu a month ago, so I had a confidence to be able to listen and comprehend the English, but I realized that the teachers of Cebu were pronouncing each word distinctly.
The local people don’t care of it, if they were speaking usually, I wouldn’t catch the English, it’s natural.

To listen and comprehend English are I need to learn pronunciation and American accent, it was made me critically think.

Then, the teacher’s teaching is good and I was relief that she don’t a disgusting look even if I didn’t speak well. The teacher is kind.

Anyways, I will learn pronunciation and I want to become that I can make a easy sentence smoothly in English.
