忘年会のシーズンがやってくる

I am required to perform at the End-of-the-Year Party.

Ich werde gebeten, auf der Jahresabschlussparty aufzutreten.

The end of the year is always busy, but the end-of-year party is fast approaching. Last year, I prepared a quiz (browser game) as a performance, but the server I rented for testing couldn’t handle access from more than 10 people, and it went down, so I had to give the quiz verbally. This time, I intend to make up for this failure.

La fin de l’année est toujours chargée, mais la fête de fin d’année approche à grands pas.
L’année dernière, j’ai préparé un jeu-questionnaire (jeu sur navigateur) en guise de performance, mais le serveur que j’ai loué pour le test ne pouvait pas gérer l’accès de plus de 10 personnes et il est tombé en panne, j’ai donc dû donner le quiz verbalement. Cette fois, j’ai l’intention de me venger de cet échec.
Am Jahresende ist immer viel los, aber die Jahresabschlussparty steht vor der Tür.
Letztes Jahr habe ich als Performance ein Quizspiel (Browserspiel) vorbereitet, aber der von mir für den Test gemietete Server konnte den Zugriff von mehr als 10 Personen nicht bewältigen und stürzte ab, sodass ich das Quiz mündlich abgeben musste . Dieses Mal möchte ich mich für dieses Versagen rächen.

This year, I rented a VPS server and plan to install a quiz game on it. Since I don’t know much about VPS, I need to start working on it now to finish on time. That’s why I’m coming to the office on holidays.

Cette année, j’ai loué un serveur VPS et je compte l’installer là-bas.
Je ne connais rien au VPS, donc si je ne commence pas à travailler maintenant, je ne pourrai pas le terminer à temps, donc je prends mon jour de congé pour venir au bureau et y travailler.
Dieses Jahr habe ich einen VPS-Server gemietet und habe vor, ihn dort einzurichten.
Ich weiß nichts über VPS. Wenn ich also jetzt nicht mit der Arbeit beginne, kann ich mich nicht rechtzeitig fertigstellen, also komme ich an meinen freien Tagen ins Büro, um daran zu arbeiten.

As I am the youngest person in the company, I feel like I am being offered an unprofitable role, so I wonder if another company will accept me as a new graduate. This year, a student looking for a job came as an intern, but he received a job offer from another company, so no one stayed (sad). Apparently, he was selected for the company thanks to a school introduction, but there’s nothing we can do about it…

Comme je suis la plus jeune personne de l’entreprise, j’ai l’impression qu’on me propose ce genre de poste non rentable, alors je me demande si une autre entreprise m’acceptera en tant que nouveau diplômé.
Cette année, un étudiant en recherche d’emploi est venu comme stagiaire, mais il a reçu une offre d’emploi d’une autre entreprise, donc personne n’est venu (triste).
Apparemment, il a été sélectionné pour l’entreprise grâce à une introduction scolaire, mais on n’y peut rien…
Da ich die jüngste Person im Unternehmen bin, habe ich das Gefühl, dass mir eine so unrentable Rolle angeboten wird, und frage mich daher, ob mich ein anderes Unternehmen als neuen Absolventen einstellen wird.
Dieses Jahr kam ein Student, der auf Jobsuche war, als Praktikant, bekam aber ein Jobangebot von einem anderen Unternehmen, sodass niemand kam (traurig).
Anscheinend wurde er durch eine Schulvorstellung für das Unternehmen ausgewählt, aber daran ist nichts zu ändern, daran ist nichts zu ändern …

Anyway, I don’t want to perform at next year’s end-of-year party, so I will do my best at this year’s party.

Quoi qu’il en soit, je ne veux pas me produire à la fête de fin d’année l’année prochaine, alors je ferai de mon mieux lors de cette fête de fin d’année.
Wie auch immer, ich möchte nächstes Jahr nicht auf der Jahresabschlussparty auftreten, also werde ich auf dieser Jahresabschlussparty mein Bestes geben.
