カナダ5日目-ホームステイ4

My shoulder and around my neck are hurts.

Plus, my heart hurts.
I’m worn out.

Nevertheless, I went to language school for taking free trial, because I reserved in Japan.

I was going to have checked that place in advance, but I lost my way every time.
I went to the language school while I was seeing Google map and checking direction every time I move 50m.

Today’s language school is in a building, so I need to ascend in the elevator.
But, a guide board was removed by subcontractor.
I couldn’t check about floor where is the language school.
But, I was taking a picture of the guide board with my smartphone when I checked language school where is.
I saw the picture, I went up in the lift.
What a relief.

When I got out of the elevator, there was front desk in front of me.
I told a staff about I come here for taking free trial, then I was shown into a small room.
I was waiting for a little time, a foreigner entered, I was also foreigner in this country.
Then, She asked some questions lightly and I answered.
She shown me into a class room that matches my level.

I joined a class third to last, there were made up of Japanese and Taiwanese.
Plus, they were almost student.
Even a Taiwanese man with goatee like a hermit, who was older than me I thought, but turned out to be younger than me.
When he said “How old do I look”, I said as a joke young number more than I thought.
But, it seemed like it was correct, the hermit was really surprised, I was more surprised.

Then, when the lesson started, but as we all know, it was held all in English.
It’s not as though I was incredible of understanding teacher said, but I didn’t almost understand.

Lessons in the morning were composed of two period, the first period were self-introduction and discussion about a subject matter prepared by teacher.
The second period were making a presentation about what we talked in the 1st period, then English learning materials progressed 2 pages.
Then, the discussion was needed 1 on 1, I ended up pairing up with someone the hermit.

Since the hermit didn’t spoke not well in English, so it was difficult for me listening English, and then he was taking actions that willing to go off the track and talked about other.
So, I was hard at the time of making a presentation.
But, I was feeling relief, because there were some Japanese.

I was surrounded various countries staymates at my homestay, it was really hard for me.
But, there is a japanese in the classroom was relief for me even if I don’t talk in Japanese.

As I was impressed from the lesson, classmate was acting with a high school student type of attitude.
I think it couldn’t be helped, because there were a lot of real students.
If you wanted to learn English seriously, you wouldn’t need to choice upper class.
But, I thought it could be applied to all all language school.

The free trial lesson finished, then I went back the first small room that I was shown into and I was waiting.
A japanese entered the room.

Since I was speaking in Japanese for the first time in a while, so it wasn’t well and it was strange japanese.

I was hearing about a lot, but I felt that she wasn’t pressing for contract.
Maybe, since a lot of students were using a agency, so they didn’t need to press for contract, I expected.
I was impressed good by the school.

After that, I went to a library.

The 1 floor called in Japan was strange way of call in Canada.
It was displied “Ground floor” in the vancouver library.
A button of elevator was stated GL, it might have stated LL, I have faint memory.
Be careful.

And then, I was writing diary.
3 days left until the end of current homestay.
6 days left until I go back to Japan, I haven’t halfway through.

When I go back to my homestay, I bought several piece of pizza that 400 yen a piece at a shop inside of library.
It was bigger than I thought.
